Inspired by friend and skiffle man Chas McDevitt, the Jive Aces formed their Skiffle Combo as an outlet for an urge to play roots, bluegrass, jug band and the British incarnation of the American music that hit the shores of England in the early 1950s where it started a scene that was the catalyst for the future of British rock and pop.
By popular demand they produced a skiffle E.P. with liner notes from Chas and perform at the drop of a hat. Great fun and perfect for roots, folk and country festivals anywhere!
