This is really our perennial Christmas card to you all, because if there is one thing that we’ve had requests for, it’s a Christmas album!

And why not? After all, the spirit of Christmas is about bringing joy, happiness, peace, and goodwill to all. And what better way to spread a bit of happiness than a little Yuletide cheer in musical form? Especially if it jives, swings, and rocks and rolls—which this album certainly does!

We got together with a few friends, dusted off some timeless gems, scribbled a few new ditties while sitting around the crackling fireplace, and then wrapped them up and stuffed them into the musical stocking that is this album.

So, sit down or grab a partner, drop the needle in the groove, and lift your Christmas spirits to get that warm and fuzzy feeling, Jive Aces style. We send you and yours our best wishes for a lovely Christmas and happy holidays. See you in the New Year when it starts all over again!

Many years ago, the Jive Aces were drawn to each other through a common love for American roots music: blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, jazz, and swing. When asked how they discovered this music as teenagers east of London, England, they always tell the same story—it was through the door kicked open by Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. That Memphis catalyst, along with a few others, started a musical revolution and evolution. Tracks: 1. Mystery Train 2. See See Rider 3. Blue Moon of Kentucky 4. Lawdy Miss Clawdy 5. Hound Dog 6. Only You 7. Corrine, Corrina 8, That’s All Right 9. O Sole Mio/It’s Now or Never 10. Rip It Up 11. Up Above My Head 12. Good Rockin’ Tonight
